Holy Ground Christian Retreat is the newest venture from Parkway Real Estate. Our office and Retreat accommodations are located 3 minutes off the main road through Wears Valley and up the hill for a clear and panoramic view of Wear's Valley. Bring some cameras for this view; you won't want to miss it.

Wears Valley is the bridge between the bustling fun of Pigeon Forge and the serenity of Townsend. It is unincorporated and picturesque, with all the grace the Smoky Mountains can provide without compromising much of the convenience. It is 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge and 15 minutes to Townsend and there are plenty of opportunities to find antiques, arts and crafts, southern-style restaurants, and tubing the famous Townsend Wye after visiting the famous Cades Cove.

And of course, we offer more than just a pretty sky to look at. A lot more. We have outdoor barbecue grills, plenty of meeting space, plenty of parking spaces, a great large porch and sitting areas beneath.

We have lodging, conference, and kitchen facilities to accommodate most every need.  Catering is provided by Grandma's Kitchen, located just one mile from our facility.

Cades Cove is one of the most beautiful and serene areas of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Holy Ground Christian Retreat is located conveniently within 30 minutes from this wonderful Smoky Mountain experience.  We highly recommend your group consider time to spend in Cades Cove.  Filled with history, culture, wildlife, and beautiful scenery, certainly it is a way to experience God in the Smokies.

Horseback Riding, Rafting, Tubing, and more await the youth groups in either Pigeon Forge or Townsend and for those groups who prefer to stay near the valley, our Holy Ground properties offer the most beautiful sunrise and sunset settings you can imagine for worship opportunities or times of reflection for your group.
